Solid Maple, sturdy, and in great original, slightly used condition This is an outstanding version of the L. Hitchcock maple chair set. It is a harvest design and the Hitchcock signature, with backwards stenciled N's, which is said to mean it's from as early as 1946 through some of the 1950's
