This antique trunk vintage trunk treasure chest is a stunning old wooden storage chest, covered in tin, with a rich patina and ornate metal hardware — perfect as a decorative antique chest or functional storage piece in your home. Crafted from solid wood and beautifully aged over decades, this unique vintage treasure chest brings timeless charm and rustic character to living rooms, entryways, bedrooms, or cabin décor. A small antique steamer trunk! This antique chest was once used as travel trunk or travel chest but now it’s ready to be your treasure chest. A beautiful storage chest or storage trunk. An antique wooden trunk, covered in embossed tin.

This vintage trunk is a pretty rare find. This old trunk is covered in embossed tin, Acorn embossed tin, there aren’t very many of these circulating.
Quite a rare piece, from the late 1800’s these arch top, or hump back, Victorian trunks are so ornate!

This antique chest is has a some of it’s original exterior; oak slats have been sanded and restained in a dark walnut. The body had had some color touch ups, and high points in tin and hardware have been buffed bright.

Original handles are still intact, the one on the trunk’s left has one layer coming away. It could be glued to preserve the original look. Hasps / latches work, no key for this old trunk.

These antique trunks, have endless uses, from record album storage, to an entry way storage bench, foot of the bed storage, blanket chest. they also make a great retirement gift, anniversary gift, wedding gift, birthday gift, housewarming gift, or just to treat yourself!

Interior is stripped and sanded, and ready for your finishing touches. These are a great keepsake gift, add decoupage, of photo copies of family photos, old love letters, sheet music, family recipes etc. it’s a blank canvas! Though it is useable, just the way it is.

The interior can also be stained, painted, or torched, by me, for an added charge.

This antique trunk measures: 26 1/4” wide, 15” deep (front to back), 17 3/4” tall at corners, 19” tall at center sides, and approximately 21” tall at top center of lid
