A true 'obscure curiosity' for the discerning collector, this one-of-a-kind burl table bridges the gap between historical character and contemporary luxury design. Professionally packed and shipped, with free ground shipping.
A spectacular French burl lamp table, or parlor table, from the early 1800’s
Its newly refinished, with walnut stain and satin polyurethane, with minor bits if it’s original gold leaf still visible on some of the detail, and profile of the table’s lip.
It originally had brass details (see pics) that I had planned on leaving off. There were originally 3 pieces and I have misplaced one of the smaller of the three. They were attached with pin nails, and while slightly visible, not a deal breaker to me personally.
I will include the 2, that I have and if I can find the 3rd piece that will be included too. I personally didn’t mind the piece on the lower shelf, but would prefer nothing on the top, which is where the missing one would’ve gone. The 1 short piece on the top that I still have could look good on the wall side, if you wanted to install it, as some had just one.
Table measures: 26 1/4” diameter, 29 1/4” tall
Lower shelf is 14 1/2” diameter and sits 9” off floor. 18 5/8” clearance between bottom of top surface and lower shelf
