A beautiful storage chest or storage trunk, that could become the perfect trunk coffee table.
This black Antique Steamer Trunk appears to be entirely original. it’s in great shape, but not perfect. One handle is broke, but could be glued together for aesthetic purposes. The hardware is a deeper toned gold brass look, richer in color than most, in my opinion. Oak slats are in great shape, black tin body has a few marks in the finish,but still looks great, see pictures.
Interior of this antique trunk is in great shape, and has all the original doors, latches and interior tray, it pretty rare to have nothing missing, and everything in such great shape!
A great addition in any room. This is definitely one of the better original vintage chest trunks I’ve had!
This original trunk would make a great trunk coffee table or chest coffee table.
A super nice original piece, from the very early 1900’s or possibly late 1800’s, these slant tops are pretty hard to come by, and I’ve never had one, that appears to be all original, in this nice of shape!
Body is covered in tin. Hasp & latches work, no key.
