Antique Steamer Trunk, Crocodile Tin, Coffee Table Trunk
A beautiful antique steamer trunk or Vintage Trunk Chest. This old trunk was once a vintage travel trunk but now it's ready to be your vintage storage trunk, or treasure chest. These antique trunks can make a really cool coffee table trunk, or end table trunk, nestled between a pair of chairs! This particular antique steamer trunk, is a nice, more durable alternative, to a leather trunk, and having a similar look.

This antique trunk chest appears to be all original. The wood slats appear as if they do not have a finish, and the remainder of the trunk's finish is worn and slightly seasoned, but in a beautiful way. This trunk has crocodile tin, and some extraordinary hardware. This antique chest does not have handles, but handles could be added for an additional charge. Also no key for this old travel trunk, and at some point someone needed that key, and bent the center hasp, see pictures.
The interior of this steamer trunk appears to be all there and in pretty good shape. One of the lids is partially unattached, see photos. Even the hardware, on the inside, is all there, including the pins that make the drop in tray sit in the corners.
This antique steamer trunk, trunk coffee table measures: 32 1/4 ” wide, 20 1/4” deep (front to back), 24 1/4" tall at side center.
