This is a beautiful , antique trunk, steamer trunk, is a flat top trunk. A mostly original trunk.
Once used as a vintage travel trunk or travel chest, now ready to be your treasure chest, or treasure trunk, pirate chest, vintage storage trunk. This size trunk would also make a great coffee table trunk, or coffee table chest, it’s a great place to store blankets, magazines, media, also great for dog food storage, or gym equipment storage, etc
I do have many old trunks for sale, be sure to look at my other vintage chests, steamer trunks, wardrobe trunks, and old trunk for sale.

This antique Chest is mostly original, the center section of the lid has been repainted, by me, to mask the fact that someone took a paint brush and painted their name. you can still see it a bit, in the right light, because they used entirely too much paint! The remainder of the original browns all vary in shade.
Oak slats, appear to have their original finish, in a walnut stain. Original handles are still intact. This antique steamer has travel stickers all over it, see pictures.
The interior is old trunk is original, and while it doesn’t smell bad, it does look a bit dirty, as most do.
If you’d like the interior stripped and sanded, I can strip and sand this interior for $100.00

This trunk’s latches are a little loose, mostly the one at the trunk’s right, it’s missing a tack. it’s easily repaired, but since it’s mostly original, I’m keeping with the theme. No key for this vintage trunk chest. There are also 2 slat brackets missing on the top at Trunk’s right, they’re available online, if you’d like to replace them yourself , they aren’t super obvious, I missed them when I purchased it, see photos.
