This Antique Trunk or, Antique Chest
is newly refinished or refurbished in rich, browns with blacks Slats are stained in a deep jacobean.
Interior of this Steamer is stripped and sanded, and ready for your finishing touches. These are a great keepsake gift, add decoupage, of photo copies of family photos, old love letters, sheet music, family recipes, children’s art, etc. it’s a blank canvas!
The interior of this old trunk can also be stained, painted, upholstered, or decoupaged to your specifications, for an added charge.
This travel trunk is well traveled, it’s got some busted up slats at the bottom front and the top rear, see pictures. It’s also missing 2 of its original, tiny steel wheels on the bottom. None of these things affect the structural integrity, and I’ve camouflaged them, pretty well with stain & paint. Someone has also added an extra hasp.
Trunk is also without handles. No key
Measures 28” wide, 15 3/4” deep (front to back) 18” tall at center end, slightly taller at very center top. 16 3/4” tall at corners.
