A super rare, Antique Victorian Steamer Trunk, ornately crafted like no other, Vintage Chest or antique trunk, a real treasure chest!
The ultimate piece of home decor! I have to say, I think this is thee most beautiful
Victorian Arch Top Steamer Trunk, ever made! This is only the second one I’ve been able to acquire, and I never dreamed I’d find another!
What was once an antique travel trunk or antique travel chest, can now be your treasure chest or treasure trunk.
This is a spectacular arch top, antique steamer trunk, ornately crafted from the early 1800's and one of the larger sizes made (just a few inches smaller, than the largest) One of the most spectacular antique steamer trunk vintage trunk chests I've ever had in my possession, and very rare.
The floral tin, on this antique steamer Trunk has been buffed bright as has all the spectacular hardware, with varying shades of browns, coppers, blacks and bronzes in the background . Oak slats, on this old trunk are refinished in a deep walnut, remainder of this vintage chest trunk in the original,or so I think, black . The gold / brass on some of the corner hardware and rosettes hardware is also original, I believe.
New, custom brown studded leather handles, interior is stripped & sanded.
Interior of this vintage trunk chest is stripped and sanded, and ready for your finishing touches. These antique steamer trunks vintage trunk chests make a great keepsake gift, add decoupage, of photo copies of family photos, old love letters, sheet music, family recipes, children’s art, etc. it’s a blank canvas! It’s also useable, just the way it is.
The interior of this vintage storage trunk can also be stained, painted, upholstered, or decoupaged to your specifications, by me, for an added charge, additional work will delay shipping aprox 10-15 days.
