Refinished Pair Indestructo Trunks, Industrial Nightstands, Matching Antique End Tables, Stripped Sanded Interior, Storage Chest Set
This is a rare, matching pair of refinished Indestructo steamer trunks, masterfully restored for use as high-end industrial nightstands or side tables. Originally crafted by National Veneer Products, these early 20th-century chests have been completely transformed into functional furniture. I have meticulously stripped and sanded the interiors to a smooth, clean wood finish. One trunk features a freshly stained and painted interior, ensuring both pieces are beautiful inside and out. These flat top trunks offer a level surface perfect for lamps and books, providing a seamless blend of antique soul and clean, modern industrial utility.
The exteriors of these are finished in a rich, deep metallic brown with walnut-stained wooden slats and oversized brass-tone tacks. The taller trunk interior has been stripped and sanded, ready for use, and includes the original Indestructo trunk inserts, which have also been stripped and sanded. The shorter trunk interior has been sanded and finished with a combination of stain and exterior paint and sits on swivel lock wheels for easy movement.
