This antique trunk or antique chest is almost entirely original. At one time, it traveled the world as a travel trunk or travel chest. It’s now ready ready to be your storage chest, or treasure chest
This very sleek, and petite vintage trunk, is likely from the late 1800’s
The body on this old trunk is still has some of its gold finish, some deep brown and some rust.
This antique travel trunk still has one of it’s original, heavy duty leather handles. It also still has 2 travel tags. the other handle, at trunk’s left is missing.
Interior of this vintage chest trunk has been stripped and sanded.
You could decoupage photo copies of some old family photos, sheet music, art work anything paper. It’s also useable just the way it is. You could also stain, paint, apply contact paper, etc. I’m happy to guide you, if you need.
Or, if you’d rather I can stain, paint or torch the interior for you, for an added fee, and delayed ship time.
This Antique Chest Trunk measures: 27 1/2” wide, 17 1/2” deep (front to back), 19 1/4” tall @ center side, 17 1/4” tall @ corners, and approximately 20 1/2” tall at top center of lid.
