A very nice dome top trunk. Sometimes referred to as an arch top trunk, or a barrel top trunk. This antique steamer trunk, once traveled the world, as a travel trunk, it’s now ready to be your storage chest.

This steamer trunk is newly refinished in a rich, deep metallic brown, with blacks and browns accents. Slats are stained in a deep jacobean.
Interior of this old travel trunk is stripped and sanded, and ready for your finishing touches. These antique steamer trunks make a great keepsake gift, add decoupage, of photo copies of family photos, old love letters, sheet music, family recipes, children’s art, etc. it’s a blank canvas!
The interior of this vintage trunk can also be stained, painted, upholstered, or decoupaged to your specifications, for an added charge.
This steamer chest has no latch loops at the front left and right. The loops are missing, from the latches I’m not sure if they could be purchased, or made? They do still look like they’re there though, but wouldn’t really matter, unless you were planning on carrying it. Center hasp is intact, but had no lock mechanism. This vintage chest trunk has new, custom brown leather handles.
