This brown antique trunk is a very nice, mostly original steamer trunk, or steamer chest. A large old trunk!
This beautiful steamer trunk could make a great coffee table trunk. Previously an antique travel trunk, now it’s ready to be your chest coffee table! A true treasure chest!

This Vintage Chest or Trunk Table definitely has a Restoration Hardware feel.
This old trunk still has it’s original finish. and Oak slats are very light in color, and also have their original finish, or so it looks like. hardware is an aged brass, not sure if it real brass or not, likley just brass tone.
This old trunk has new, custom leather handles, and a new strap, with buckle. Straps have been aged, to look original (around the body @ center), the leather strap holders are original, as are the leather strips, with tacks. No key, and lock is stuck in locked position, so the hasp could be kept upright with a magnet, or the strap, when buckled will hold it up.
The interior of this Vintage Chest Trunk has been stripped and sanded, and awaits your finishing touches, though it is useable just as it is.
