This magnificent restored antique dome top trunk is a masterpiece of 19th-century craftsmanship, hand-revitalized by Angelina Nikon to serve as a stunning focal point for the modern home. This Victorian travel chest features an exceptionally rare floral embossed tin pattern that has been buffed to a brilliant almost chrome like, highlighting every intricate blossom in the metallic relief. This antique trunk is covered in a beautiful embossed tin, a rare floral tin pattern, and is a refurbished trunk or a refinished trunk!
The body of the trunk has been done in several shades of browns and blacks. Embossing's and hardware have been buffed bright, oak slats are done in walnut, and coated with polyurethane. Still has the original tan leather handles, and original tan leather lift loop, no key.
The interior of this antique chest trunk is all original, and is in pretty good shape. there are a few stains, and someone before me bought pieces of black and white printed paper, to sit inside (they’re not attached). There aren’t any bad odors, which is pretty rare, and I’d not hesitate to use this one just as it is! It also still has it’s original interior tray, it too is in great shape!
