Its classic metal and wood construction is highlighted by black walnut–stained slats, aged black tin with subtle brown undertones, buffed original hardware, and new custom black leather handles. Originally a travel trunk, this antique chest has been carefully refurbished to serve as a versatile storage solution. Its interior has been stripped and sanded, ready for your finishing touches. You can leave it as-is, use it for storage, or personalize it by painting, staining, upholstering, or decoupaging family photos, letters, recipes, children’s artwork, or sheet music—a true blank canvas for creative expression.
