This black Antique Steamer Trunk has a medieval- gothic, feel. Kind of looks like something you'd find in a castle. A great addition in any room. This is definitely one of the more ornate vintage chest trunks I’ve had, the original trunk hardware is so ornate, at least in the trunk coffee table or chest coffee table group (flat top trunks).
A very rare piece, from the late 1800’s, these ornate flat tops are pretty hard to come by!
A spectacular piece, with exceptional hardware! Newly refinished exterior; walnut stained & polyurethane wood slats, new custom black leather handles, aged black on remainder of body. Body is covered in tin. Hasp & latches work, no key.
