The back side has a small spot, near the bottom (see pictures) where there is a gouge that has damaged the canvas. I chose not to touch it up, because matching the paint would be difficult. There are also a handful of tiny specs of paint, in varying places, likely from someone painting something near it. most are on the back and a few on the top (see pictures)
The interior retains its original canvas lining and has been refreshed with a warm neutral finish and subtle vintage-inspired decorative details. Whether used as a trunk coffee table in a living room, a storage chest in an entryway, or a blanket chest at the foot of a bed, this antique travel trunk offers both beauty and function.
